Shimano RD-U3020 CUES 9-Speed SGS Rear Derailleur

Shimano RD-U3020 CUES 9-Speed SGS Rear Derailleur is a tough and reliable mech built for everyday riding. It brings simple cross-compatibility from the CUES range, plus LINKGLIDE for long wear and smooth, steady shifts. The Shadow rear-profile keeps it safe from knocks, with extra clearance for rough trails and daily bike use. Large 11T pulleys and wide links add more life where real bikes need it most. This is a mech for riders who want one solid fit, fewer headaches, and parts that last.Key Features and Benefits:LINKGLIDE build and control system: Special chain engagement and ramp design spreads load across more surface area. This cuts chain, cassette, and pulley wear by up to 300% compared to standard Hyperglide. The outcome is a drivetrain that lasts seasons longer and keeps each shift smooth as parts age.Shadow low-profile body shape: Angled parallelogram and tucked-in profile sit close to the frame. Clearance is better when riding near rocks, curbs, or ruts. This reduces impacts and avoids snags. The result is less downtime from damage and more usable space at the back of the bike.Wide link parallelogram: The wider inner and outer links boost side rigidity. The derailleur deflects less under pedalling and rough ground. This keeps indexing stable. The effect is fewer missed shifts and longer service intervals before adjustment is needed.Large 11-tooth pulleys: Bigger 11T pulleys rotate slower than small jockey wheels for the same chain speed. Lower bearing and tooth stress increases pulley lifespan and cuts chain friction. The result is quieter running and longer chain life.Aluminium bracket body with steel plates: Alloy main bracket saves weight but stays strong. Steel outer and inner plates handle constant spring tension and road grit without ovalising bolt points. The outcome is firm mount alignment that keeps shifts accurate over time.Big-range 41T total capacity, 36T low sprocket support: Handles 2x setups with up to 16T front difference and 36T largest re
